Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim is a Professor in the College of Education and Health at Arkansas Tech University (ATU). He currently serves as the director of the Master of Education program in Instructional Design & Technology at ATU. 

Dr. Ibrahim holds a Ph.D. and master's degree from Oklahoma State University, a master's degree from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in Germany, and a bachelor's degree from Cairo University in Egypt. 

Prior to joining ATU, Dr. Ibrahim served as program coordinator and Assistant Professor in the Mass Communication Department at Misr International University in Cairo, Egypt. He also taught as an adjunct instructor in the Mass Communication department and as the educational multimedia coordinator in the Information Technology Department at Tulsa Community College in Oklahoma. In the corporate sector, Dr. Ibrahim worked as a multimedia editor for TV Guide Networks in Tulsa.

Dr. Ibrahim's research interests can be classified into two main areas. First, he studies online, hybrid, and face-to-face teaching strategies including project-based learning, collaborative learning, and flipped instruction. Second, he focuses on multimedia learning content and its effects on student self-efficacy, metacognition, and self-regulated learning. His research takes a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach, as evidenced by his numerous co-authored publications and work with scholars across disciplines and institutions globally. 

To date, Dr. Ibrahim has authored or co-authored over 70 publications. He has presented his scholarship at regional, national, and international conferences and meetings. His efforts also include conducting literature reviews, serving on journal editorial boards, collaborating on grant proposals, leading workshops, and advising graduate students. 

Additionally, Dr. Ibrahim established a Memorandum of Understanding between Arkansas Tech University and Necmettin Erbakan University, Selçuk University, Konya Food and Agriculture University and Ankara University in Turkiye to facilitate academic collaborative programs.

He actively participates in several professional organizations including AERA, SITE, AACE, and ATE. Dr. Ibrahim also serves as a reviewer for journals such as the American Journal of Distance Education, Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education, and the International Journal for Innovation Education and Research.
